Paulette Gill

This group of paintings is my way to explore design elements in a chaotic controlled way.
I try to give order to the random splash of colors by repeating patterns and outlining the colors with black and gold inks. In some of these paintings you can find figures. I use this to imply my struggles in a ziggy zaggy life. I am drawn in so many directions within my art and by my art and family. If I were to stay more focused, I would have a great many more of these zig zag paintings.
